I got into film photography in 2015 with an old Yashica Electro 35 and a roll of Fuji Superia 200. I found that roll a year later at the bottom of the junk drawer, took it to the lab, and that was it—I was hooked. As a matter of fact, one of those first frames was published in Kai Wong's new book, "Old School Photography." Beginner's luck I guess.
Since then I've been religious about documenting daily life, seeking out unique moments, and taking the odd portrait.
In 2026 I'm interested in exploring more long term projects and editorial work. For inquires or collaborations, contact me at: andrewcroyal@gmail.com
